Douglas A. Branch
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Branch has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer, and a member of our Board of Directors, since January 2016 and has served as Secretary and corporate counsel since our incorporation. Mr. Branch received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Oklahoma in 1979 and his J.D. from that university in 1982.
Mr. Branch has served as the President of Biotech Law Associates, P.C., since 2004, and Of Counsel to Phillips Murrah, P.C., an Oklahoma City law firm, since 2015, where he also served as a director and shareholder from 1996 to 2004, and 2008 through 2015. From 2005 to 2008, he was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Amicus Therapeutics, Inc.
Mr. Branch also contributed to the formation and development of Novazyme Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was acquired by Genzyme Corporation in 2001. Mr. Branch served as Chairman of the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology from 1991 to 1994.
He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Securities/Capital Markets Law and Venture Capital Law since 2008.
